Our Vision

Kalamazoo Functional Rehab Team is a small organization with big goals.  We want to provide the access and broad spectrum of services you expect from a large company but maintain our small, family-oriented company structure.  Our planning and processes work to reflect this vision as well as our commitment to our client

Our Mission

Kalamazoo Functional Rehab Team's mission is to provide high-quality rehabilitation services to clients by providing a multi-disciplinary approach in a community based setting.  We strive to work beyond the barriers of clinic walls and address deficits where they affect clients the most - at home or in the community. Our goal is to maximize each client's potential to reintegrate into life using their prior level and helping them rehabilitate and grow beyond their deficits. 

The Practice

Values and Philosophy:

We believe in a patient-centered and ethical therapy approach that is focused on providing quality services that are individualized to each client' needs without bias.  We believe the best outcomes come from meaningful therapy challenges created by real-life obstacles.  We hope to elevate clients' understanding of how to use the tools they learn in therapy to apply to everyday life for LONG-term positive results.  

 

Team Approach

In a world of specializing medicine, we want to avoid the "compartmentalization" of your rehabilitation.  Our team of professionals will work closely with case management and physician providers to close the loop of communication so that everyone is aware of issues clients' are facing and progress that is being made.  

Client Advocates

Our Therapists look at the "whole person" and work closely with the client, their families, as well as their interdisciplinary team.  While we are careful to work within our individual scopes of practice, we try to recognize and communicate any issues the client is having to case managers and medical providers so clients can get the appropriate referrals to address their needs.  Our team works hard to  "close the gaps" that can be so overwhelming in specialized healthcare.

We bill your insurance and we never bill a client directly.

 Worker's Compensation Insurance

Medicare (in some instances for coordinated claims)

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (in some instances for coordinated claims)



We will need all information to ensure policy is active an billable
